History
Established in 1934, Lagan Trailers is a family run engineering business located in mid Ulster Northern Ireland. The business started as a general engineering firm servicing the local farming community but now specialises in the manufacture of bespoke livestock trailers ranging from standard cattle bodies right through to full hydraulic deck systems.
This specialisation began in 1965 with the manufacture of the first mahogany cattle body which was built for a local haulier. In 1979 aluminium sheeted bodies replaced mahogany and these were then developed for export to the UK and Ireland from 1989 onwards.
Today, all trailers are still built with the same quality craftsmanship provided by our specialist team guaranteeing our trailers meet and exceed the demands and rigors of today's agricultural environment.
